Fitting is not as straight forward as I’d like. I’ve got the auxiliary light bar on my GS1250 TE. The instructions leave something to be desired, YouTube was my friend.
The guard looks the nuts but I wouldn’t have paid full price for it. Only time will tell if it’s worth it.

The instructions may look a little daunting because it shows and exploded view, but the unit comes partially assembled and installed pretty easily. Bonus was I was able to make it work with the Denali light bar by using a combination of hardware from both products.

Probably the most well thought-out and attractive (and functional of course) headlight protector you can get for your GS/GSA. It's almost a mandatory accessory to have over anything else, simply because the headlight assembly looks awfully expensive to replace.

It took me about 20 minutes to install this. Very stout and solid guard. I’d highly recommend it to any 1250gs owner. After getting hit with a rock in the shoulder from a truck I realized if it had hit the headlight I’d be out some big money. I also love the way this one works and looks.

I thought I'd go cheap and buy a $50 guard off of Amazon. It arrived damaged and very cheap feeling. Returned said product and purchased the LoneRider guard.
